worst game of the week and it's not even close
How so? By and large, it was a GREAT football game. The effort and the play by both teams was very, very good. Every single play is a measure of both offense and defense or special teams. Every single play. Even when the offense loses a play to the defense that does not mean it was bad football, far from it.
Did Detroit and Cleveland play a better game simply based on the score?

I really enjoyed the game.........at least until the end

Hey, it's the Redskins and, pardon the pun, that is the mojo of bad teams; something always goes wrong on a critical play or two.
I mean, a decimated O line against one of the leagues best D lines and those guys played their asses off, they competed. The coaches found some things to work. Jason and the skill guys made some plays. I've seen far, far worse efforts by good lines. The d plays their hearts out, no Fat Albert at the last minute, special teams doesn't blow anything up and...and...they miss an easy FG and a tough one.
It was a good, tense, exciting game.
