Revelation 18:21 Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said:
“With such violence
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again.
22 The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters,
will never be heard in you again.
No worker of any trade
will ever be found in you again.
The sound of a millstone
will never be heard in you again.
23 The light of a lamp
will never shine in you again.
The voice of bridegroom and bride
will never be heard in you again.
Your merchants were the world’s important people.
By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
24 In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,
of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again.

Here's a link to the commentary I read.
A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea: This is reminiscent of Jeremiah’s instructions to Seraiah to bind a stone to a text of Jeremiah and cast it into the Euphrates. Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary (Jeremiah 51:61-64).
But it also reminds us of what Jesus said in Matthew 18:6: But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. This applies to Babylon in Revelation 18, because she led others into sin. It is a terrible thing to sin unto yourself; it is even more terrible to lead others into sin.
The great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore: Some day, this world system will pass away, like a great stone falls to the bottom of the sea.
Will this fall hurt us? We will only be hurt to the extent that we invest ourselves in the mentality of commercial Babylon’s materialism and worldliness.
Shall not be heard… shall be found anymore… shall to be heard in you anymore… shall not shine in you anymore: In graphic and poetic language, John describes how the industry and commerce of Babylon will come to an end.
For by your sorcery all the nations were deceived: Sorcery is the Greek word pharmakia, which means, “to prepare drugs.” The lure of commercial Babylon is like a drug addiction, fed by deceptive advertising.
The blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth: The extent of this charge is an indication that this great city is symbolic of the world system at large. There is no one literal city that is responsible for all who were slain on the earth.
In her was found the blood of prophets and saints: God takes the persecution of His people as a personal offense. Those who attack His people really attack Him.

Verse 21 "Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea".
Note... it wasn't a millstone... It was the size of a millstone.
It's not manmade. God's doing this. This is going to be God's work. It'll be much deadlier than a manmade rock.
I googled it. A millstone can be 6' in diameter and it can be a foot thick.
So, something the size of a millstone was thrown [not plopped or dropped but thrown] into the sea and Babylon was wiped out.
Now to me that sounds more like a Tsunami caused by a meteor, or an eruption somewhere close to the coast, hitting near the city but far enough out to sea to cause a huge man-annihilating tsunami.
Everything will be wiped out... naturally.
I googled it again... and there is a volcano about 300 miles off the Oregon Coast that is going to breach the Pacific in the next few months. That's going to cause some kind of tsunami on the West Coast of the US. On top of that, there's an issue with a magma cap in Yosemite National Park. It's going to blow. And that's just the junk we know of.
I figure something will be thrown into the Persian Gulf. That will take out the Babylon of today. God could send a poisonous boulder into the Persian Gulf, wipe out Babylon, and cause a noxious gas that will make the whole area uninhabitable.... and take out tens of thousands of humans in the process.
It won't be a nuke, or a Russian spacecraft. God's taken over. It's going to be something totally natural. A rock...
God's going to rock Babylon!
