Going beyond normal dieting...

I get most of my carbs in before 3pm, I try to get ALL of them by 3pm actually.

Is this so that you will burn them off? I had excellent results following an extremely low carb (under 30 grams) high protein diet but eventually the carb cravings won and my dilligence evaporated..

So now I am trying to incorporate a more moderate plan. that allows carbs but only "good carbs" and I still limit those.. but not as drastic

try to stay low fat,low sugar and good carb..

ok after all that I am finding it difficult to lose after eating so drastically low carb for @ 2 years..

any suggestions?

daily carbs generally include serving old fashioned oatmeal and 2 slices of the lower carb whole wheat bread or a ww pita

I missed this post, sorry! :ohwell:

Yes, I get my carbs in earlier in the day so remaining carbs have no chance to be stored as fat while sleeping. I was reading an article saying some simple carbs upon waking up (as well as a scoop of whey protein) is ideal to flush nutrients into the body quickly since you're body has been missing it's required nutrients throughout the night.

I would slowly introduce more carbs to the body each week (maybe even after a few days). Don't worry about the scale, just see how you look in the mirror. I found I can control my weight better if I do about 1-1.5grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight while trying to diet...

Hope this helps...
