Nope, my 3rd grader had just told me the night before I took the quiz that the nile was the longest river. Glad I listened to her for once.

My 5th grader had already forgotten that. He was not a happy camper.

He's into wacky stuff, like blood cells and football/baseball stats.

He also can tell you everything about sharks that you never wanted to hear.

What will he be doing for a living when he grows up?

I'm 30, does that make me a whippersnapper on this forum? :lmao:

Start a poll and then figure out the average age. I'm too old, and was never good at word problems.

You did better than I did the first time.

Take it again!

I could have sworn The Amazon was the longest river in the world, until yesterday. I stand corrected. :yay:

Okay, took it again, got 10/10, like I said it's a memory thing. :killingme

I got 10/10 but I have to admit I had to use the process of elimination on a couple of them.

The fraction one was weird. The lowest common denomination for 3/4 and 1/2 is 4, so I have no clue as to why they used 8.

If i recall ....... its been 22 yrs since i got out of HS

you multiple the bottom numbers together to get a common, not lowest common denominator then cross multiply the 3x2 and 4x1 so you get 6/8 + 4/8

Goober Quiz 03-17-2007 11:14 PM If you couldn't figure that out, you're pretty dumb.

Yes, I'm pretty dumb. I guess that's why I got all the questions right. :dork:

10/10 :dude:

First question almost threw me, while I read Constitution my brain started thinking the Declaration of Independence. Had it not been for the fact that 2 of the 4 listed didn't sign it, I would have scored 9/10. Maybe worse as this one forced me to read more carefully.
