MS has the casino buffets, if you're near the coast.

TX....well, you can pay in pesos and get a discount.

True, Socki. V went about two weeks ago and lost and loaned money out. He told me about the buffet which was $26 I believe but had SO MUCH FOOD!!! We;re suppose to go later this year. :yay:

Buffets are filthy..... To many people lick their fingers while serving themselves and then grab the utensils you have to use after them. Kids are to short for the sneeze/hair barrier to have any effect and the cough and sneeze all over the food, pick their nose, and lick their fingers also.... and then you have to use the same utensils after them as well. I could go on and on.......

I'm sure filthy practices take place behind the scene in all restaurants but at least it out of sight out of mind. The stuff listed above takes place right in front of you.

That's why you have to plan the best times (morning, big holidays) to go to a buffet. :lmao:

Ugh, my Dad wanted his birthday dinner at Golden Corral (Waldorf). So, we all went there last Saturday. I found two things that I could stand to eat, mashed potatoes mixed with corn, and a small salad. :ohwell:

I hate those types of places!

Girl, don't downplay the bread there. :wench:

I go there once a year. The free dinner in Nov. for mil.

In Waldorf, I love Old Country Buffet but the night we were to go it was Superbowl Sunday or something and it was hella crowded so we decided on Golden Corral.

GC's food is seasoned better but the floorplan and seating is all about getting as many people in there than making sure people dine comfortably. Plus I dont like the staff staring at me as I get my food. OCB has booths and excellent Fried chicken.

In GC I got bumped at the back of my chair by passer-by's far too often and the wait-er/ress has to bring you plates and cups. So, I would never go there as a first when in Waldorf.

:high5: While Golden Corral is definitely not my favorite restaurant, their rolls are the best. Ryan's is on the list of my favorites though.

It's all about grazing at GC.

Obviously, and with all those chairs they still have lines out the door.

I think if we got one of the two buffets (GC or OCB) in the south county that it would do well. But, it could take businese away from a lot of the other restaurants. Then again, I have no intentions of paying $13 for 7 shrimp in bbq gravy with steamed broccoli and toasted bread ever again.

That could not have been my cousin Camille. She would still be going to court for that and have all of the forensic reports on file. I hope you raised at least a little he!! though. :jameo:
