This is the first Holiday in ten years that I haven't been asked to cook..... I'm feeling out of control. Family got together and decided to give me a break. I'm flipping through cookbooks trying to think of something great to bring anyway.

Wonder what mental illness this is....:lol:

I just put Aunt Marvy's Deliciously Moist Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake in the oven. :yum: It's very healthy. It has pudding AND sour cream in it!

So this morning...at 4am...I woke up to what sounded like gunshots outside my window -- went off 3 times before I realized it was either firecrackers or fireworks, because I saw a flash. I started to doze off again, and nearly had a heart attack when it went off 15 minutes later. I called campus police and reported it, and they said they would send another cop down, eventhough one was already out due to an earlier call. It took about 2 hours to fall back asleep, mostly because I was just so freaked out from thinking it was gunshots at first......it just amazes me how ignorant people can be.

:confused: I'm not trying to be funny but are you saying you for thinking they were gunshots when they really weren't or are you referring to someone lighting firecrackers early in the morning? :confused: :peace: :huggy:

:huggy: I'm not surprised there was already a cop there. When I got busted for drinking (underage) on campus at Frostburg, The Fuzz was on me lickity-split! :razz:

You called the cops on someone for setting off fireworks?? You must be a blast around the 4th of July!

Dunno, guns "flash" too.. you should of opened up the blinds, turned on the lights, opened the window and asked.. "HEY!! Are you firing a gun, or setting off fireworks??" I'm sure they would have gladly answered your question for you..

I'm really hoping that if you thought it was gun shot that you DIDN'T go look out the window to see what was going on..

Yeah, I called the cops when people set off fireworks FOUR TIMES at 4am in the morning.
