I just talked to my DIL-to-be and she was standing by the terminal waiting for his bus to pull up. He should be calling any time.

It's for good - his year is up and he gets out in September. But the DIL doesn't get out until next May, so she may have to go back to Iraq. If that happens, he's going to extend and go back with her.
