Way to go Doug. :yay: Vraiblonde and Larry it must feel great to have your son back from the land of the sand. Give him my best and tell him thanks for what he has done for all of us.

My son's feet are on US soil! :patriot:

I just talked to my DIL-to-be and she was standing by the terminal waiting for his bus to pull up. He should be calling any time.
Damn I wish I had some jerky to send your way as a "welcome home and thank you for your service".

Thanks, everyone. He's home now and sleeping in his first "normal" bed in 3 1/2 years  (he's got an apartment in Killeen).

Most of you all are/were service so...

...I can tell you from the heart all your appreciation means that much more.

A few moist eyes last night and this HUGE thing checked off my list. They both did very well dealing with their tours and did themselves and all of us proud.

THANKS

Well, there was the time Jess went to the chow hall and minutes later a projectile explosive came through the roof of her barracks and blew up her bed.
