Bad Sunday morning because this is my last night in San Antonio

Yesterday we went toobing down the Guadalupe River and it was a BLAST! We almost lost Larry in the chute but he recovered at the last minute and made it through with minor scrapes and bruises.

Yesterday we went toobing down the Guadalupe River and it was a BLAST! We almost lost Larry in the chute but he recovered at the last minute and made it through with minor scrapes and bruises.

Glad to see you got to do that. So, did you empty out the cooler tube on the way down? I swear, it never seemed like I was drunk till I tried to get out of the river/tube. Then you really knew you were toasted.

I forgot about the the Chute... I take it you all went left at it and river levels were nice.

Here is what that river looks like on Memorial Day (July 4th is about the same)... the river is like this for miles. I tried to find a picture of the Chute to help your story, but this one is on the far side and you can't see it well.

That was us! We were tied together so we got hung up in the chute and the water level was pretty low. Larry slammed me up against the rocks on the left, sending me vertical and, in trying to straighten me back out, he capsized with 6,000 other tubes coming straight at him and his leg wrapped up in the rope

It was pretty exciting
