Hello expensive Chinese crap!

I buy American as often as possible anyway, and then try to get it local to boot. I had no idea Mexico even grew avocados, the ones where I shop come from Florida or California. Gretel eats chow and treats made in the USA because I don't trust foreign countries to not poison my dog.

I'm old enough that I still have a stigma attached to "Made in China" - that it's going to be garbage. I love Ninja products and have several of them, and they're made in China by little Chinese child slaves which pisses me off. They should bring that manufacturing to the US and I hope they get nailed hard with tariffs to encourage those commies to support their own country.

Florida avocados are typically the less desirable (for health and taste) varieties. If you want Hass you get em from California or Mexico. Mostly Mexico.

If I wanted my basement to flood I'd buy sump pumps and grinder pumps from Lowes.. instead I buy American. I wouldn't trust any product with the Utilitech brand name.. you know it's the cheapest Chinese crap Lowes could find to sell at a premium price.

What I saw in NH was most of our lumber comes from US trees, but we chop them down and send them to Canada, then import (with Tarrif's) from Canada. Our trees, grown in our forests, imported from Canada. The trucks carrying the trees, have to pass by dozens of closed lumber mills on the way to Canada... why?

I don't understand this either. It has to be kickbacks and palms getting greased.
