Where did you d/l it from? I just d/l it from piriform.com, the creator of CCleaner, and the only thing related to Google during install was the Google Toolbar, which you can uncheck to not install the toolbar. It's possible, if you d/l it from a site other than piriform.com, that they may have included Chrome.

Normally I d/l it from piriform, but for some reason, I d/l from file hippo this time.

Not sure I trust anything from Google. They are the new Microsoft.

Speaking of that, I've been using bing for a few months, but recently switched back to google. With bing, you get a half a page of ads before you get to actual links, and sometimes, that's all you get, is a page of ads. Bing is crap.

I'm Team Google as well. From their start, I thought Bing to be too cluttered with ads and such. However, I just did a side by side search comparison of Google and Bing and their layouts seem to be pretty much identical now...hmm..
