Congrats on the lens, have fun with it!

I would if I could figure out this lighting problem I have. I can't seem to get the yellow out of the pics no matter what setting camera is on. The lights in the room are the new flourescent bulbs in it. Don't understand the yellow.

 Never thought about using my filter!

I usually get yellow cast....tried changing your white balance? or use the preset option---I'm not sure of your camera's settings though....

ps....filters usually decrease the amount of light....at least so I have noticed---? up your aperture help?

If not we can have fun positn pics and seeing what the others think!!!

What kind of camera did you get?

Nikon D40, came with two lenses and just got a third today. Unfortunately I have to wait on a new camera bag. I put it in a Kodak bag for now. I told hubby that was like parking a Mercedes in a shack! :lmao:

Try changing your white balance, the camer sees certain light differently that our eyes do, thus the color cast in the photo that you dont see in person.

I'm sorry if you feel left out, but I got a sick animal baby and she is helping me with her, that is why we are meeting up in the first place. :huggy:
