:lol: My wifey-poo/baby-mama is now the proud operator of my D80, of which she is also trying to figure out how to use. I was thinking about getting her a D40 or D60 since it would probably be a little easier to handle and figure out, but she seems to like the D80 so im not going to spend the money on another camera.

Yeah hubby took over my Panasonic, but has yet to pull it out of the case. :rolleyes:

Sounds interested!

Well, she wanted to learn to do more than just snap shots so I figured we would start out with a P&S with shutter and aperture priority modes so she could learn them. She liked it, and shot some pretty decent images; the first time she really used it was for the last scavenger hunt. I told her if i got the D300 she could use the D80, as she was getting kind of frustrated with not being able to get the types of shots she wanted due to the limitations of the P&S. She had been using the kit lens (18-135) until last night when i put the 50mm f/1.4 on for her to try. We went out today and shot some, she really liked the 50mm. We havent taken her pics off the card yet though.

He mainly wanted it to take with him when he goes hunting so he can do a different kind of shooting.
