Sweet! My fiancé's son got an 8 pointer on the family farm this morning. He's pretty happy getting one on opening day. 🦌

1) An antlered white-tailed deer is defined as a deer with two or more points to one antler, or a deer with one antler three or more inches long, measuring from the top of the skull as the deer is in life.
2) Hunters may harvest one antlered white-tailed deer within the yearly bag limit that does not meet the requirement of having at least three points on one antler. Any additional antlered white-tailed deer taken within the yearly bag limit must have at least three points on one antler.

My ex told me once "If you eat that you are one sick MF"

I told her it's not that bad Honey, I don't mind. It's a little gamey but you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

That's when the fight started. :boxing:

She marinated and quick fried the meat. She said it was good, I didn't try it. I've had heart before and didn't like it.

Had a pot o' chili for the rest of us. It was yum-yum. Looking forward to chili with ground venison.

Her step-dad would have never let her shoot if it wasn't legal.

It has one antler at least 8 or more inches long. You can see it at the bottom of the picture. The other antler is probably just as long but it is partially covered by foliage. It may even have some points on those antlers, but the picture was taken so close to the deer that one can't tell.

Grind that deer up into burger half with beef fat and half with pork fat with some semi spicey seasoning thats what I do with most of my deer that I harvest other stuff I have tried like Bologna and jerky are good too and its 100 % natural
