Grandparent's/Special Friend Day

Tell them you're not buying b.c you buy too many pictures now as it is, BUT, if they want photos they are more than welcome to buy them themselves! That'll shut them up!

Don't tease me - I don't think it's possible to shut them up!
Got another week to go till the big day. I'm sure they'll come up with more drama before then.

They're not technically my stepkids, but my "stepkids" call my mom Nana and her BF "Grandpa Mark." I don't see the big deal, and neither does BF. They also call my sister "Aunt Becky." Big whoop.

Grandparents day today was fun for alot of kiddos. I spent the morning walking them to their grandchilds classrooms and the kids were so happy. I do feel bad for those who don't have grandparents nearby.

Both of my parents have passed away but as always my stepdad was there with my daughter today. I have never had a problem with her calling him Pop Pop. He has been in her life since she was 2 and since my mom passed away 4 years ago he has been the only grandparent that has been around for her.

The picture prices are crazy. They used to be $15 for 2 5x7's and 8 wallets, today we paid $25 for the same package.

Finally- an uneventful grandparents day!!!!!!!!!

Two were a no show (for good reasons) and all else was fine. Two stayed for 1/2 hour the other two stayed till end. No drama (that I'm aware of)!!!

Kid is happy as are we.
