I want to share how helpful Pet Paradise Kennels was when I went to board my two cats there two weeks ago. I brought the cats in separate cat-carriers and was carrying them from my car. I had to set them down for a minute, and one cat (Puddy) pushed against the front "door" (which was not properly latched) and got out. Then she ran off.
I told the young woman at the desk and she helped me look for the cat. We couldn't see her, so I checked in the other cat and went home. The next
morning I went to Albany for a graduation.
On Monday, I went to Paradise for Pets to pick up my other cat and asked about Puddy. They had seen her and tried to catch her in a cat cage/trap with food in it, but they had caught a neighbor's cat instead. Everyone reassured me that they'd catch Puddy, and the next morning, I got a call that they had her and I could pick her up.
One of the people who worked there had suggested that they drape a
dark blanket over the cage so it would look like a tunnel. He was thinking like a cat, and it worked. I was so happy and grateful that I offered to pay as if Puddy had stayed as intended, but the young woman in the office declined payment. I am so impressed with the help, consideration, and thoughfulness which Paradise for Pets showed in this situation.
