I voted for Buddy, Richie, and Bopper as well as Cobain since they were fairly early into their careers and had already had quite an impact but who knows what else was to come. I suppose Jimi and Janis could be thrown on as well by this criteria.

The day the music died. 3 taken out in a storm. 1 was still a teenager. Holly was just 22 and Richardson was 28. They still had a lot of music left between them.

I think Freddy Mercury, as well as having one of the best singing voices, was one of the best entertainers ever.
