Never heard of Fage:shrug:
Why does everything that is good for us have to taste bad??? (and vice versa)!
Even with Chobani their vanilla is kinda, YUCK! Now I'd probably eat bugs with vanilla on them because I love anything vanilla but the Chobani vanilla is chalky tasting.
Also, I spoke to the Giant manager and asked him why they find it necessary to introduce a new product and then stop selling it temporarily? They did this with Propel flavored water in the 2 flavors that I like. The reason I asked him was that I'm afraid they will do the same thing with this Greek yougurt.
As Kris said earlier, my favs are the peach & strawberry ones.

Giant has done away with soooo many things I've depended on them for, it's ridiculous. I've written customer service card to no avail. But, whattaya going to do?

Okay, I'm a fan :yay:

BJ's had the flavored and plain Chobani, so I bought some of each. Definitely better than regular yogurt, and surprisingly filling for that little cup. This morning's breakfast was an egg, 2 egg whites and a dollop of the plain yogurt, beaten and scrambled with omelet mix (broccoli, turkey, mushrooms, garlic).

OMG, it was so good!

Try substituting the plain Greek yogurt for sour cream. Because it is so think and creamy, the replacement is almost unnoticeable. Plus, you get the benefit of the extra protein!

Dips....use Greek yogurt
Baked potato.....use Greek yogurt
Cream cheese frosting....use Greek yogurt

It's all good.

I really enjoy the Chobani! :yay: I try it so many different ways, yet the simplest seem to be the best to me!

I'm glad you like it Vrai!

I am so very blessed
I was thinking this as I was trying to choke it down when I tried it. I need to find a different brand or something.
It's odd, eating Greek yogurt as it's intended, as yogurt, is a little difficult for me because of the thickness. But if I eat it as a "pretend sour cream", I find it easier to eat.

Oh, also try some Greek yogurt mixed with a teaspoon or so of sugar-free preserves. Low fat, low sugar, and high protein. I also thin it with a little milk, and it tastes great.

Thanks! I'll try that!

Not sure if anyone else has a Costco card but I was there last weekend and they now have greek yogurt there. A large container either 32 or 36 ounces (cant remember for sure) was $5.49.

I can't believe this! I was bragging about how much I liked Chobani and now I've apparently lost my taste for it. I guess having 1-2 each day just got old. I, now, seem to have a hard time "choking it down" so now I'm looking again. Even though most yougurts today are low fat or fat free, they're all sooo high in sugar. Chobani has 19g which isn't much but still.
I tried Activa (the drinkable kind and the regular kind) and they're so so.
I'm trying Yoplait this week to see how it fares. It has half the sugar and not too bad of a taste so far. Why does everything that is good for you have to taste soo bad??!!! (and vice-versa).
