gross- need help -- cat killed

I have never had this happen before, but there is a first for everything. My husband went to start the truck this morning and a cat was under the hood. He tried to start the truck, weird thump noise, we kinda figured we may have knew what it was, he lifted the hood and our fear was reality. How do we get it out?

Seriously, I would think piece by piece and then hit it with a high powered hose...

I'm sorry to hear that Dawn... I don't know, I'd try to remove the peices and maybe hose it off? I don't know, but I'm trying to bump this for you so maybe someone can help you. Sorry you had to deal with this today, sorry for the cat too.

Just drive it. By the time he gets to work, lunch will be cooked. Serve it with kimchee for the authentic touch.

Just pull it out and wash it down. If it's stuck between a belt and a pulley, just turn the engine over again until it falls out

...running it. It'll wear/fall out eventually.

...first comment upon opening hood:

"Honey, we're gonna need a new cat..."

I just told him to get the hose, poor thing he is under the truck trying to pull it out, he said it is a mess.

Thanks, I am sick by this.

At first that was my thought first too, but then I thought, it wouldnt be good to drive and let body peices fall out.

I think that is what he is going to try

Ugg, while pulling out the peices, there was a live kitten in there as well. He said it scare the shait out of him when he went to pull thinking this was dead and it moved. I have the live kitten in a carrier I am going to take it to the emergency vet after he cleans the dead one out.

This is such a horrible day.

:frown:

How old is the kitten? Is it injured?

Dawn, can't you get any help from anyone to trap/spay/neuter and release those cats?

Who's kittens are these? How many more are there? They should be rounded up and taken to the shelter.
