Guberment Pay Raise

Does anybody know when the final pay raise is supposed to hit our paychecks? How about the retroactive payment?

We got the first one, the partial, but I still haven't gotten the final increase from the executive order Bush signed over a month ago.

The first pay raise in January was for 2.12%, the final pay raise was for 4.42% including locality. It makes a $1,467 difference in my annual, so I have been keeping a close eye on it.

Yes dummy, I looked at the actual pay table. Thus I know how much I am supposed to be getting, and then checked my employee express pay stub, and saw that there was a $1,467 difference which means that it hasn't hit my paycheck yet.

Yeah, it's somewhere in between a GS-1 step 1 and a GS-15 step 10.

Giving the percentages you quoted and the resulting increase you are complaining about, anyone with a calculator who gives a flip can figure out the exact amount.

No, actually it can be easily figured by knowing what % of your salary $1,467 makes. You gave us the %. It doesn't matter to me, I just find it amusing that you'd make personal information so public.

Hey anti-Einstein ... have you asked your pay office yet? :shrug: I think it's up to federal agencies as to when you get it depending on budgetary matters.

I got the rest of the increase and the retro earnings on the 3/26 paycheck. What I saw said it could take 6 to 8 weeks before everyone is squared away. I guess it depends on agency.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Just means my retroactive catchup contribution check will be bigger. Works for me.
