I got my first competition rifle through DCM.. I unboxed it at the beginning of the season, I was the only one to ever shoot it, and at the end of the season I believe they sold it to me for like $40. Remington 540RI dragged my first wife to a high power weekend at Meade in the early eightys so she could qualify to buy from the DCM..
We bought back when it was one in a lifetime Garand and it was pick of the draw. They took a year to get and they cost 121.00 or 123.00 each.
I still have both of them... Both are WW2 rifles one is a Springfield 1942 and the other is a Winchester 1943.. My bro has our Grandfathers that he bought through the DCM and delivery was through the NRA at the DC headquarters around 1962...
I still shoot the vintage high power matches with my Springfield..
Fun rifles to shoot...
For all my Virginia friends and family.. your guns can find a loving home with me. My house is a sanctuary.
The bill would require any owner of a semi-automatic rifle it classifies as an “assault weapon,“ including AR-15 rifles, to register the weapon with government authorities by 2021.
Ahhhh... but if I say my house is a SANCTUARY laws don't apply. Democrats have already set the precedent.LOL.... Your home in Maryland? 80+ that cant be brought into Maryland there Bob.
You might want to look into a place in WV...
I'd like to read the exact wording because I heard that any semi-automatic weapon was going to be illegal.Wasn't sure this is the best thread but...
