Fox and raccoon are both night hunting game.

Not all hunters hunt deer. Not all hunting at night is illegal poaching.

Right now I know for a fact people are out fox-hunting... I was supposed to go with them this saturday actually...

Can someone please tell me where I can find the hunting / gun laws for St Mary's county? I find it hard to believe it's legal to be hunting or shooting in the dark, on what sounds like MY property.

No, laws are one half hour before sunrise to one half hour before sunset, and yes deer season is currently open. Will be until Jan 30th with breaks in between.

A few corrections...it's one half hour after sunset. Also, it is deer season, but it is currently bow only. Shotgun starts on the 28th and then it switches back to bow, then muzzleloader, then bow, then shotgun, then bow, then...

The only breaks are on Sundays.
