I do not see where my post denied that the guard was a blessing; she was.
My take was re the gun lobby.

What about the gun lobby? You can't deny that having someone there armed, prevented a tragedy..

I'm not familiar with the Colorado gun laws, if they are anything like MD, you know we're just a bunch of victims waiting to be preyed upon.

Yep! And last year the founder resigned for having a boy toy...

What CCW holders think about gun safety and how folks should act is laughable. I hate it when tragedy brings out the gun nuts; maybe the gal at the church should carry the armor-piercing rounds the NRA protects...

Armor-piercing rounds protected by the NRA? For use in a personal defense weapon?:killingme You have no idea what you’re writing about.

In Colorado I have read there are no licensed security guards and they have shall issue. This woman that "probably saved a hundred lives" was a woman with her own gun and a concealed carry permit which was a parishoner who volunteered to act without being paid as some security for the church.

In MD private property is a gray area and so are churches, but if it was a business she would have had to be an employee or owner or had a carry permit. Handgun permits in MD are very difficult to get and most people cannot get them so if this was MD it is unlikely she would have had a permit.

I want to move to Colorado..

How much you want to bet the press will NEVER touch on that aspect of the story.. that the private citizen carrying a concealed weapon prevented a tragedy..?

CNN kinda sorta did. They admitted it was a parishoner with a conceal carry permit that volunteered without pay to be some security.

The gun lobby help people like her be able to be there in place to do what she did to save lives. AP rounds, what are you talking about .50 cal AP rounds or are you talking out your azz about the "teflon coated" "cop killers" of years past?
