I think the short cut might work for her then. It'll probably look a little distressed/beachy if you put some mouse/gel in it, then blow dry it.

Why would you want a mouse in your hair? Or did you mean mousse?

Well ladies, thanks for the pics. I got er done on Saturday and it's very cute! The underneath is the natural warm dark brown and the top is a dark golden blonde. I'd of liked the top a little lighter but since i had deep red highlights during the winter there was a lot of red to pull out and with my hair being baby fine we couldn't let the bleach set on it long enough to pull all the red out. We used a golden glaze. It's very summery!
