Hair it is in Exploration is awesome. I've been going there for 10 years, used every stylist and they have NEVER messed up :knock on wood: They are a little expensive, but worth it. They fixed my daughters hair after another location butchered it!

You get what you pay for......I had my hair butchered back in janurary at a chain place in California. The "stylist" was having conversations with all around her, looking at wedding pics from another "stylist" while she was supposed to be cutting my hair. At the HAIR CO in Leonardtown the stylist never took her eyes off what she was doing to my hair. I'll pay an extra 10.00 for a real cut.

You are so right...I have been with The Hair Company for 7 years now, Jackie and the rest are the best. I truly don't care what my cut & color cost, I will continue to pay whatever they ask. Keeping my sanity and not losing it over a horrible hair job is priceless.

Can anyone recommend a stylist around here that can do a haircut that actually looks like the picture you bring in or close to it? The person who usually cuts my hair is out for surgery and they have me with someone new at Hair It Is this Saturday. I saw her picture on line, I've seen her hair, and I now have concerns. The last person who butchered my hair was Lemon at Pennys, won't go back there.

I've been to almost every hair place there is in California/Lexington Park and I have to agree with you. I haven't been going 10 yrs., but I've been about 6 times and they are fantastic.
It's a bit expensive, but I call it my 'pamper time'.

They give great shampoos, very relaxing and in a comfortable massaging chair. If I can get a really good shampoo (my favorite part of even going to the salon) and a good cut/style, then I'm happy.

Libby & Dina have both done my hair with wonderful results.

BTW, I'm 49 yrs. old ..so while the girls themselves have somewhat 'wild' hair IMHO, they do listen and are very attentive. I have yet to find anyone who can create an exact haircut from a picture.
