At first I thought, hey, *maybe* it burst open all by itself - even though it's been running non-stop for weeks, and did the same thing last year. But then I found one of the "mooring lines" cut straight through - the edges are perfectly even - and only one of them. The slice is also just one long line just as straight as you please. The fabric is way too tough to simply *tear* and I can't widen the hole without considerable effort.

There's no doubt it was deliberate, because it was cut in two places that have nothing to do with one another - a burst would not have been in a long gash, and it certainly wouldn't have resulted in slicing evenly a small piece of nylon rope.

I would - but I was too p!ssed, Sunday, when I found it in pieces. It's in the trash now.

This sounds ignorant over something like a vandalized yard ornament, but did you call the police and file a report? If not, you should just so they have it on record in case it happens again in your neighborhood.

I was at WalMart and came back to my car to find some punk rifling through it. I chased him off and didn't think any more about it until I off-hand told a cop friend of mine about it. He said you ALWAYS report that sort of thing, no matter how minor.

I took the vette out yesterday and while I was uncovering it I noticed a Bud Light can had been tossed in my yard and was laying really close to the car. I was gonna call the cops but then it dawned on me that DoWhat might have been flirting with me.
