I think there's a way. If you click the left thumbstick to crouch a mini-menu appears at the top of the screen which allows you to select something.... (using the d-pad maybe... i haven't used it, but I made note of it). I've assumed so far it's selecting your inventory items, but like I said I haven't explored that part of it

I'm still trying to use the scope without breaking cover.

WTF is that all about? It's really throwing a crink when I'm trying to be stealthy.

I think you are talking about the "gravity lift" which makes you jump

if you are using the default controls, the X button lets you throw the bubble shield, regenerator, etc. In Halo 2 the X button was the reload and action button, the RB button has replaced that in Halo 3. Now the X button is used to use your items and you can only hold one of them at a time. You'll have to drop the bubble shield to pick up a different item.

If you are playing on Legendary I highly suggest you stick around in each map to pick up the skulls after your kills. Like I posted before I finished the fight so I thought OK! now I will go back on easy and get the skulls....NO NO NO I can't play on easy to get the skulls since I beat it in legendary. I was up till 4 playing legendary AGAIN to get the skulls that I should have got in the first place. SO far I only have 5.

I have one :getdown: :lol: I had fun watching the monkeys I was playing with die over and over and over trying to do the grenade jump to get to it :lol:

As it turns out, my gamepad is hosed up - when I click the thumbstick, the X and A buttons are being triggered, which throws an item and jumps.



Oy ####ing vey!

Well, I don't know about all that... but Gears of War does look to be pretty friggin' awesome. and that's the next item on my Games To Play list.

Well if I am right you can only get the skulls in Heroic now, or do you care about getting the skulls?
