Weather?...what weather?I hope you made out okay through this crazy weather.
i've learned from past disasters. During the aftermath of Hurricane Ernesto....we ran out of beer. My brother and a buddy volunteered to take one of the skiffs and go see if stores off the island were open and had beer. They ran the skiff right down the middle of Rt 249 on the island..the water on the road was easily 3-4' deep.If anyone makes it thru a storm, it's him. Power out? Generators. Flooded? Boats. Stores shut down? Enough stock for a town.
Having enough beer might be an issue.
You never called me your brother before. See everyone... he really likes me.i've learned from past disasters. During the aftermath of Hurricane Ernesto....we ran out of beer. Halfway up the island., ran in to a National Guard M35 deuce and a half loaded with some county personnel. They were attempting to rescue an elderly lady from her home but the yard was probably another foot or so deeper than the road and they were stumped. My brother landed the skiff on the lady's porch, loaded her up in her wheelchair, and transported her to the M35. Deputies asked..."whatcha doin' out here anyway..just rescuing folks?" Brother: "well ..actually,,,we were headed off the island to rescue some beer". Not another word was said. LOL.
Brother from another mother. That ho.....You never called me your brother before. See everyone... he really likes me.
