It's 'I need a hug Friday.' I dropped and broke my stereo/surround remote this a.m.

Going to be a long one... I have house guests arriving today - one human, (well, sort of human) and two quadrupeds... Huskies
, my Huskies, that is...
My old pal (remember the dear old toothbrush recipient?
) wanted to come back into town to catch up with everyone at the horrific Tiki (barring the bridge is back open) nightmare 
with me, yes wonderful me, as his DD. Calls have been made to his buds and I'm sure that attempts will be made regaining juvenille states of drunkeness throughout the weekend...
Tomorrow, arrangements have been made to gather with dear friends... Just found out, however, that the place where I have a lot of old belongings stored - an old barn on my niece's husband's family's side
crazy is being burned down for future builds, so I have to leave the gathering and move my storage to my house then return to what will be probably another enlightening show of promising behavior on the part of my pal - thank God for my friends... All the while, I will be handling the pack of Huskies and Mutes, taking them to run, feeding, (and, yes, KJo, POOPING THEM 
) and setting up the house arrangements so that the townhouse doesn't become a natural disaster zone.
Sunday, I have my niece's 30th birthday party, which is also going to be a joint celebration for her house warming as she and her husband just bought her first house and it is also her son's birthday.
