No, it's $0.10 off/gallon for every $100 spent. Giant and Safeway work the same. Giant, at least here in Calvert, is at Shell stations while Safeway is at their own pumps and, maybe, Exxon.

I'm somewhat surprised that some of you buy an off brand gas.
It all comes from the same places and refineries. The only real difference is what they choose to use as additives.

**** Status ... what is the least expensive, when one buys 75 gal a week or more
Doesn't matter if you're trying to project an image. The same way I have no time for those people who buy Big Honkin' Trucks (or any vehicle that uses a lot of fuel) and then complain about the MPG and how much it costs to keep it on the road.

That's why I fill up at the cheapest place then I go to Exxon and pretend to fill up while doing a Hulk Hogan flex/pose down facing the road while other cars go by.

I'd kinda figured that but I thought it would more Duane Johnson.

You guys are laughing but I've had people tell me they won't get Citgo (the only stations in the Beaches) because they feel it's a down-market brand. That's even when the two stations here (same owner) are usually a couple cents to a nickel more than other stations elsewhere.

I wont get gas from Pilot, but that is because at two different Pilot stations the pump did not shut off and I got gas all over me. I think I've only gotten gas at a Pilot 3-4 times total so happening twice was way too often for a coincidence.

My. Jetta is very particular when it comes to diesel. I usually get Citgo at the local general store. With only 1.9l, it needs good fuel or it may as well not have the turbo. A few cents per gallon at 42mpg isn't very noticeable.

My gas comes from the same station for convenience. My gas vehicles like the Citgo stuff as well.
