Has anyone tried the Room With a Brew in Leonardtown?

If not, don't bother. My goodness the woman there doesn't know what the definitions of the drinks are so she made mine incorrectly. The coffee doesn't taste very good at all either. I highly recommend "not" going there.

It's a coffee shop next to Blairs Video in Leonardtown opened by Wendy Heidrich who also runs the Three Notch Theater in Lexington Park. They're a new and independent small business so you might consider giving them some time and a second chance in this day and age where corporate America is taking over St. Mary's.

Ribbon cutting on Friday the 23rd at 4pm. KW is supposed to attend so if you see a motorcade of black Escalades on 235 next Friday, he's on his way! :yay:

We loved the funky decor. Local art on the walls is a nice touch. I agree, the lady making the drinks was not a competent "coffee barrista". But after explaining thoroughly what we wanted she did ok. It definitely has potential! I heard there will be music soon too.

:lol: I agree..I take mine black and just can't get into flavored concoctions. I just don't get the allure of coffee houses. Guess I have no taste..

Next time you're in one, forget the flavored stuff... Go for a Black Eye.

Black-Eye = Strong Coffee with a couple shots of Espresso in it to give it a good kick! :yay: :yay:
