Has anyone tried the Room With a Brew in Leonardtown?

I worked in one when i was living in Daytona. It's really not that hard to make coffee/espresso variations. But you do have to know what the customer wants...and asking them is the only way. You can't guess and expect them to just like it.

I hope she makes it work and gets some good help. good local coffee bars can be fun. But everything has to be right, decor, music, service, atmosphere and clientel.

I can easily see the latter being the downfall of any business around here though.

It's no secret that you make your own frou-frou coffee at home.

Next time you're in one, forget the flavored stuff... Go for a Black Eye.

Black-Eye = Strong Coffee with a couple shots of Espresso in it to give it a good kick! :yay: :yay:

I don't remember what we called it, but one of my favorite espresso shots started with a ts of sugar, a ts of chocolate sauce (Hersheys) then add a shot of espresso. rot-your-teeth good!

I can't have the sugar, but the caffine rush of a strong brew with a double-shot of Espresso makes for a great eye-opener.

Gets me through many a day at work.

Ribbon cutting on Friday the 23rd at 4pm. KW is supposed to attend so if you see a motorcade of black Escalades on 235 next Friday, he's on his way! :yay:
Sounds like a good day to wear my "Dubya is AWESOME" t-shirt.

 I agree..I take mine black and just can't get into flavored concoctions. I just don't get the allure of coffee houses. Guess I have no taste..
This morning I made french vanilla folgers and creamed it with butter pecan ice cream. :yum:

I have been there three times and gotten good coffee and service. They have really decorated it nicely and have a lot of plans. They seem to be opening it up to a wide range of people coming in to play music. They have a nice size room in the back that people can rent for meetings, dance, music, and parties. I think they stand a good chance of bringing a nice meeting place for people.

I've been looking for a place I can go one-on-one with my kids (one at a time) to chat and spend some face time. This place serves fruit smoothies too, so maybe this will be the place! :yay:
