Well here you go, this is a lovely heavy metal video that you cant
understand a word of, Except Kill The Christian. I have no idea how
popuplar this band is, but could this be a begining of taking hatered
of Christians to a new level in the US? Or giving kids the idea its ok, like the
rap song a couple years ago Cop Killer?
Dont waste your time listening to this.
Oh they also have such hits like: Homage for Satan, When Satan Rules
This World, the Stench of Redemption
Parents watch what your kids are listening to!

Oh hells bells Marie, where have you been? ALL the music I listened to as a teenager was considered devil worship music. Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, AC/DC, KISS (Knights In Satans Service) You were supposed to be able to hear the devil if you played the albums backwards. :jameo:

I was also (and still am) quite fond of the Ramones "Kill the Poor" and "Beat on the brat with a baseball bat". 99.9% of kids who listen to this type of stuff are NOT going to actually go out and kill a christian, sacrifice a goat, or take a baseball bat to a baby. :huggy:

Satantic music isnt the issue, It's the Kill the Christian thing.

Posting it was like free publicity.... and if you have nothing better to do than seek out anti-Christian crap and whine about it instead of trying to live like a good Christian then you need to get a better hobby.
For the record, I don't care for this kind of stuff either but to each his own.

BTW, it's Deicide and here's the lyrics:

You are the one we despise
Day in day out your words compromise lives
I will love watching you die
Soon it will be and by your own demise
Buried in hypocrisy
Lacerate your faith in god
Morally diseased
On the cross of Calvary your body bashed, defeated, stabbed
Blessing as you hate
Loyal to your enemies
Monetary faith
As him you'll pay for the lies of your prophecy
Satan wants you dead
Kill the christian, kill the christian
Kill the christian, kill the christian
Kill the christian, kill the christian
Kill the christian
Armies of darkness unite
Destroy their temples and churches with fire
Where in his world will you hide
Sentenced to death, the anointment of christ
In due time your path leads to me
Put you out of your misery
The death of prediction
Kill the christian
Kill the christian...dead!

Here's my interpretation of selected lyrics. The song is violent but there is some truth to what is being said IMO.

Day in day out your words compromise lives
(condemation of people for anything you see fit)

Buried in hypocrisy
(Ain't that the truth)

Morally diseased
(and self righteous to boot)

Blessing as you hate
(God loves you, so long as you fit the mold)

Loyal to your enemies
(being nothing more than a mask for a control machine)

Monetary faith
(redeption costs 10%)

Satan wants you dead
(not true, Satan is a creation of Christians and he likes chaos and discontent so you're right up his alley)

Destroy their temples and churches with fire
(much like Christians of old persecuted others in the name of God)

So you're saying .1% of OUR KIDS will?

Isn't THAT too many?

None of this is really all that surprising. Taking things to the next level, while we complacently sit back and dismiss it as just another devil worshipping group. All the while our kids are killing, having sex and doing drugs at younger and younger ages; and we sit back and ask "what the heck is wrong with our kids today?"

Well according to your stats that 1 % of approx 20 million or more kids, at least 20 thousand will act out violently to what they listen to. :coffee:

If you don't like do not listen to it!!!!!!

Okay, this is where someone has to say, "It's about the kids". Are you one of those people that watch the news and see these kids committing the most heinous crimes and ask “what has gone wrong with our kids today?” Or are you one of those people that just don’t care about what’s being crammed into their skulls-o-mush? EVer seen the video games they play? Ever watched Shrek with all the language and suggestive content that's in that movie?

I’m not suggesting we ban this stuff. We, as a society, should be smart enough to realize the danger of this crap and, as a collective, boycott the crap. But, we’re more interested in what makes us feel good for the moment rather than consider the consequences. We’ve idly sat by while our entertainment industry (as a whole) takes things to the next level, then we can’t figure out why crime and aberrant behavior has gotten so bad, especially in our kids.

What kind of message does this Video send?

Video Clip

Christian violent stuff is nothing to be concerned about at all. After all, Jesus is love and compassion. (Despite the sword quote at the beginning.)

Well, your link seems to have been taken down. It says "This video has not been approved yet", but I think I know what the video is.

I blame it on Elvis, he started the downward spiral of moral corruption in children with that gyrating pelvis of his. :yay:

You can claim this is Elvis on a different level if you want. It is what it is. I don't think we had problems with kids going into high schools, malls and colleges butchering people on mass levels during the Elvis years. You want to pretend the entertainment industry has nothing to do with it while in the same mental breath wonder why our kids are going down the toilet, you haven't learned how to connect the dots.

The same people screaming about such horrible things like religion being shoved down their throats are the same people ignoring the message of these entertainers. How is it that God be considered so corruptive yet music, with these violent lyrics, be considered harmless?

I personally do not have any kids. I love all three versions of Shrek and I do not think the adult humor is obvious enough for a child to see or hear.

The problem with todays kids is that you can not discipline them with a spanking anymore with out feeling like you are going to get told on by the authorties.I think every child that has done something wrong should have that kind of punishment so that they will stop the bad behavior. You can not keep an eye on your child 24/7 so you would not know if they were listening to that stuff while you are not around. JMO

In the context of broadening this discussion you are absolutely right. I place the largest part of the blame on the parents. They have created an environment where the kids rule. There is also a progressive movement of people that want to come into our homes and dictate how we raise our kids. I agree there are a bunch of factors that explain the chaos in our children.

You may think Shrek is harmless but I'm quite sure you wont be running around your house spouting the word "a$$" because you don't want your kid saying it. So why would you want it in movie that is targeted towards kids? Kids may not understand what they hear, but they certainly will mimic everything.

I blame it on Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd; always trying to shoot and kill Bugs Bunny.

Also, blame it on Wiley Coyote - the ultimate terrorist who was always planting bombs, explosives and traps to try to catch and kill the Roadrunner.

Who knows what influence those cartoons may have had on Elvis! lol
