I blame it on Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd; always trying to shoot and kill Bugs Bunny.

Also, blame it on Wiley Coyote - the ultimate terrorist who was always planting bombs, explosives and traps to try to catch and kill the Roadrunner.

Who knows what influence those cartoons may have had on Elvis! lol

Yeah thats it :killingme

Thats all Folks!!!!

In the context of broadening this discussion you are absolutely right. I place the largest part of the blame on the parents. They have created an environment where the kids rule. There is also a progressive movement of people that want to come into our homes and dictate how we raise our kids. I agree there are a bunch of factors that explain the chaos in our children.

You may think Shrek is harmless but I'm quite sure you wont be running around your house spouting the word "a$$" because you don't want your kid saying it. So why would you want it in movie that is targeted towards kids? Kids may not understand what they hear, but they certainly will mimic everything.

You are right I wouldn't want my kid (when I have one) saying the word a$$ but I think that in the context of Shrek they were refering to the donkey meaning (jack a$$). I personally do not remember hearing that specific word in any of the Shreck movies unless the word jack was in front of it.

Better go watch it again. I think it's said in both 1 and 2 (I haven't seen part 3 yet). And the context in which it's used is referring to Donkey but the frame in which it's said has a double meaning.
