Have you ever heard of this?

What an ordeal. She went in this morning. She did have pyometra. It was severe. She's on antibiotics. They were shocked she wasn't showing any other signs of illness. She is one skinny little cat now.

Brought her home and within minutes the stitches started bleeding. I cleaned her and put her in a kennel to restrict movement. She went nuts to get out and we ended up with blood everywhere.

Back to the vet we go. They wrapped her in a pretty pink kitty corset. Told me to keep her kenneled all weekend. Even gave me a mini litter box for her. Before she was hyper and now she's just laying around. It's a little scary. In fact the vet was worried because she really fought them this morning and now she's relaxed. It may just be the effects of the anesthesia.

I'm staying up tonight to watch over her. I just have a feeling we're not done yet.

The next time Pete picks me up to take me to lunch he had better not have a pair of fuzzy dates hanging from his rear view mirror...:twitch:

Or his tow hitch

"dates" are being generous. "peas" is more appropriate.
