Heating Garage

Has anyone ever heard of a garage being heated, my real estate agent said that my garage would have heating bacause of the water pump being in the garage. The garage is attached to the house and my bedroom is above it, I would think having heating would cause fumes to come back into the house! :jameo:

Causing heat wouldnt cause fumes, I was worried that the car in the garage would produce fumes and they would be pumped thru the house by the central air.

Don't leave it running. Start it and get it out of there.

1) You would have to have the car running to produce fumes.
2) More than likely there will not be a return in your garage.

Ah, the light bulb comes on now. I guess you might get a tiny bit if you ran the vehicles for a length of time in the garage with the doors closed. They would have to have a return vent in the garage also to take the air back into the sytem. If you're worried about the pump freezing, put elect heat in.

Right, there would be no return that is the solution that I have recently been explianed, other wise it would not pass building code.
