Heinz 57 or A1?

I like both, A1 and Heinz 57. It depends on the intended use. I put Heinz in my hamburger mix, everyone loves them. I put A1 on my baked potato. My son taught me that a number of years ago.

I will make due with A-1, but Nick's sells an excellent steak sauce with their own label. It's a little savory/lightly spicy sweet.

I'm still sadsadsad that the Lea & Perrins steak sauce went away. THAT was my very, very favorite... 😭 (it was also a little sweet mixed in with the savory)

OK, on a side note. Anyone remember Earl's BBQ in Charlotte Hall? They had the best bbq sauce. Apparently, he never shared the recipe. Anyone have a clue of something similar?
