helicopter landing in Ridge

A helicopter just landed in the church parking lot next to my farm in Ridge near Fresh Pond Neck Road. It looks like a bad accident but I can't see exactly as it is getting dark. I am praying it is not someone I know but in such a small town it is unlikely. No matter who it is I hope they are ok. Anybody hear anything on the scanner?

One of the guys who comes into my store can't get home he was at the accident scene and said that it was a little grey car that had the roof smashed in it was sitting on the guys chest. He also had a baby carseat in the backseat and he didn't think he had the baby with him and then he asked where he was (this person was at the scene told me this). the fire and ems told him to leave (he really had nowhere to go as he lives on the road they blocked in with all the fire and ems.

G1G4 you guys dont get tool jobs very often do you and when you do you go to town. Looking at the pictures on Baynet you guys worked all the rust of the tool with that cut job.

I just saw the story and pictures on the Baynet News. Horrible. We knew it had to be bad for a helicopter to land in the church parking lot.

Believe me, there is no rust on those spreaders or cutters. Our guys are fluid with our tools, and the entire process (from arrival to end) took under 20 minutes. 44 arrived on scene at 1744 and the extrication was completed at 1802. That included a door pop, dash roll and a roof flap. Keep in mind, the tool came off of 42 who arrived about a minute later.
We finally got to put our new stabilization equipment to use. :yay:
