G1G4 someone told me the guy was from DC and didn't know the road and was speeding and driving like a nut that is what caused the accident. I hope the guy will be ok. Why did 2 helicopters come if it was only 1 patient? I was told 2 by someone who was sitting there as they didn't let anyone go through for about 1hr while they worked the accident scene.

Not sure where the guy is from, never bothered asking the Trooper on scene. Whoever told you there was two is wrong. The only helo that landed and departed was Trooper 7. Fresh Pond Neck Road was shut down upon the arrival of the chief, and was opened back up about an hour later, so that part is right. Everything else is wrong or questionable.

ok...its only he said she said information. I wasn't there. I was at the store and customers were telling us this stuff.

took under 20 minutes. 44 arrived on scene at 1744 and the extrication was completed at 1802. That included a door pop, dash roll and a roof flap. Keep in mind, the tool came off of 42 who arrived about a minute later.

Just going off of what the CAD said. I figured it didn't take quite that long. Seemed like he was out by 1800.

I missed a chance for great pictures of the Children's Helo. Daughter was in the room about a 1/2 floor below the helo pad, and about 100 feet away. NEVER even thought of the fact that I had my camera in the car in the parking garage..
