Maybe clarify that they are given 30 days paid leave pending termination. I would want them out immediately, so that email or government communications /documentation don't disappear.

Read a link on Yahoo about the DOJ sending out an email asking the people there to investigate any wrong doing the SC found in ruling some J6 people were overcharged. One employee took the email and ran right to the media.

These people can't be trusted so they need to go ASAP.

For your consideration ...

Perhaps for regular, as a whole, government employees, GS-1 and up, but this woman was a top level presidential appointee. Trump had every right, as the President and executive to fire and replace her at his sole discretion.
Hey chucklenuts, I AGREED HE COULD FIRE HER AT HIS DISCRETION. I gave a SUPPORTING reason that it's a bad idea to leave ideologues in place for a month to sabotage things if they know they are getting the boot.

My wife has the same issues with people who put in their notice to go to another job. Some work their 2 weeks and get a nice send off. Then there are those who call out, start coming in late and hang around to bad mouth management. Those are the ones she kicks out early.

Why allow these govt people to cause trouble for 30 days to set up co-workers to spy or help continue an agenda.

The 3 times I have changed jobs and gave 2 weeks notice, I was immediately asked for my badge/computer and told I could stay home for the next 2 weeks with pay. I was not a disgruntled employee and, as far as I knew, my employer knew I wasn't going to do anything but it was company policy.

See, I understand that there are some jobs where sticking around for a few weeks is probably not going to change anything. I once worked as an auto parts delivery driver - I gave two week's notice and he said "you can leave right now if you want". That was fine with me - new job paid a helluva lot more and I was already working it part-time. What could I have done? Smash things?

You should have sued.

Reason: they wanted to replace you with a hot chick, knowing that the garages you delivered to would order from the parts store with the hottest chicks.

Kinda why Gilligan regularly used a machine shop out in Mechanicsville.
