Help for a deaf puppy

I spoke w/ the POC at the Humane Society of Charles Co this evening....she's only had one person call and put in an app for this pup...said they haven't been contacted about him by anyone else.
I've had quite a few calls and emails...not sure why HSCC isn't being contacted by the ones who expressed interest to me..."Petey" isn't on their website because he's at a foster home, and only the dogs at the shelter get their pics taken 1x a wk (something like that), so he hasn't been posted...He's still available though. Hope someone adopts the poor little fella.

She didn't say...their adoption coordinator was off and I guess that person needs to review it. I think they plan on hanging on to him for a bit to see if any peeps follow thru that have been calling/emailing me. Their website person is also off for 2 wks, so his pic won't be on their website anytime soon either.
We (SHR) volunteered to take him prior to him being placed at the shelter, if it came to that.

Spoke w/ the Humane Society yesterday, and I'm picking him up this evening! He'll be the newest addition to SHR. Navigator will foster him for us - how cool is that?

Petey is doing just great! We forget most of the time that he's deaf. He plays with my pack but also loves to spend time by himself exploring our (fenced) woods. He's a sweetheart and will make someone a wonderful companion.
