HELP! Going on Vacation Need Temp Foster Homes...

Well, we've been trying to do massive adoption's but I'm still left with a number of dogs at my place that need temporary foster/baby sitting care (at your home) from August 14-21st.

They are all house and crate trained, some get along with almost all other dogs, some with a few other dogs, and some don't get along with other dogs at all.

Some will be quite easy to take care of and other's will require more of a firm hand.

If you can help please send me a note and we'll see if any of these can fit.

Thanks!

I would cancel my vacation, but my brother would not forgive me missing his first daughter's wedding...

How are the kids w/dogs?

I know I have two that would be okay with them, so long as they are good with dogs.

Polly

Paris

Dogs that need sitters....

All of these dogs are spayed or neutered and current on shots. None of these have been around cats, so I wouldn't trust them to be loose with them.

Chopper - Sweet heart, no small kids, experienced home the best due to how excited he gets when you play, he walks great on a leash, really doesn't much care one way or another about other dogs, so long as they don't get in his face and bark first.

Kobi - NO SMALL KIDS - needs an experienced home, gets along with most dogs, UNLESS one of them are crated.

Sadie - Pure puppy, only older kids though

Donte - Big and hairy, playful, much a puppy

Polly - She's a total sweetheart, gets along with almost all dogs.

Paris - gets along with "almost" all dogs.

Zak - big strong boy, have to be careful during play as he gets pretty excited. I haven't really had him around other dogs, but he is not outright agressive with any of them.

Two more:

Lizze - small Rottweiler, can't be around other animals. Sweet, but always acts like she is starving. Kids probably wouldn't be good.

Jessie - Shep/pit mix. She's a sweetheart, good with other dogs and I expect with children as well.

Why wouldn't a pet sitter work at your home? Just curious...

Hi Krazd, I would love to help but I'm out of town the same time and looking to place my three fosters. I'm planning on using my petsitter for them if they still need a place by Aug. 16. I know you have more than I do and the cost may be prohibitive but maybe we could all donate some $$ for the cause. Just a thought.

Because my personal dogs (4) are already having a dog sitter come to the house. The only one that has been incorporated on an all day basis is Kobi, but being gone and them all being alone with any length of time, I do not trust them.

I have 3 already going to boarding and am making more reservations, but if I can get some situated in a household that would be better for them.

Ahh..

I'd offer to walk them or something but I cannot take any more dogs into my home. Sorry.

If I hadn't already missed my nieces high school and college graduation, I might attempt to miss this... but as it is my family will never understand what I do with these dogs anyway....

To keep peace, I better be there!

I really want to... :bawl: But due to my recovery issues (neck, etc.) it would not be advisable or safe... (I really want Donti) And I can't pull up the others in a timely matter as my firewall is doing a clearinghouse each time I pull up the page.

Good luck!

OMG.... Paris could be Mily's long lost sister! :jameo:

This has been bugging me for a while. Is your dog's name Mily as in Millie, or Mily as in Milo with a y instead of an o?
