One last shot to see if I can find temp dog sitters! The following would be the easiest to "babysit"....

All of these dogs are spayed or neutered and current on shots. None of these have been around cats, so I wouldn't trust them to be loose with them.

Chopper - Sweet heart, no small kids, experienced home the best due to how excited he gets when you play, he walks great on a leash, really doesn't much care one way or another about other dogs, so long as they don't get in his face and bark first.

Kobi - NO SMALL KIDS - needs an experienced home (resource guarding at time, gets along with most dogs, UNLESS one of them are crated.

Polly - She's a total sweetheart, gets along with almost all dogs.

Paris - gets along with "almost" all dogs.

Jessie - Shep/pit mix. She's a sweetheart, good with other dogs and I expect with children as well.

They are all current on their shots. If anyone can help please let me know!

Thanks,
K

K, I can take Kobi. Seems by his blog, he and Sash should get along fine. She's not crated, but has run of the house day and night.

K-K, I'm not sure which adoption group you work with....but aren't there other foster families out there that would be willing to help you out?

Yep, that's the problem... all the foster homes are full!

That's why I was hoping someone just "might" have space for a dog knowing it's only "temporary".

Three adoptions in a week and there are still too many dogs.

I either need a bigger house plus more hands around it, or I need to back off on how many dogs I keep there... Unfortunately that's probably what's going to happen, this is too stressful... :jameo:

:ohwell: I meant like SMAWL or something.

Second Hope Rescue is the group and unfortuntately we don't have a lot of resources. Most rescues are very full, especially right now.

Yeah, I just looked it up on the Petfinder page. It sucks. I tried talking my dad into watching one or two...but it was a no-go. :frown:

I hesitated to ask you since they all have pit in them.... They would have to be walked as well, but they are all used to being crated..

As long as I can keep them away from the horses and my other small animals I think I can handle it. You would know better which would be the easiest to work with. Just let me know if I can help. I know how hard it is to get away with all the pets.

Polly is a total sweetheart and is easy to walk and pays attention to "leave it" pretty good, Jessie would be an easy one too, she's very sensitive and very undemanding...

I'll call you when I leave work.

This would be great!

Just got back from picking up Hercules dog (Kobi) from Krazd Kat. Damn this dude is big compared to Sasha. Prolly 4 times her size. One fight so far. No blood, except on me from getting in between. Not sure who won. I know I didn't. It's all about sharing me. Everyone is settleing down now.

Will keep you informed between Herc and the Tasmanian Devil. :huggy:

K, been a long time, good to see you again. Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself. See ya when you get back.

Not to give Kobi back

Kobi is really a big sweet boy, he LOVES the water. He knows quite a few tricks too, how to roll, sit, etc. Thanks for taking him for K_K!
