HELP! I need a new pediatrician

We use Dr. Karen Bauer in Mechanicsville. She's a gereral pysician, not a pediatrician...but we take our 5 and 9 year old children there and are very pleased.

I think that he used to be with the Shahs but he isn't now. And he does have a good personality. My oldest LOVES him! Whenever she sees him in his office she gives him a big hug.

Yep, Dr.'s Sheth and Dhillon left Shah's and went independent around the same time. I take my girls to Dr. Dhillon and we all love him.

I remember when he was seeing my daughter for newborn care and as he was examining her he smiled at her with a glow on his face, turned to me and said with sincere exhuberance, "I love my job!" He always gives the kids a hug and he really hates it and feels bad if they are afraid of him (white coat syndrome). He's always sure to discuss things with you in his office after the examination and will take as much time as you need. He has even called me first thing in the morning to check on my kid/his patient.

Hey MB come by and get some joe, and we can talk peds. I think that I have a unique view on the major players in this county. It all depends on if you want some who goes by the "book" or some who looks at alternative medicine also.

I have used both Sheth and Dhillon. They are great doctors, I love them to death and would not use anyone else. They genuinely care about your child and you feel it when you watch them with your child. I have used Them both for years, when Dr. Dhillon left Shahs I followed him. I now use Dr. Sheth but only because he is closer I had no other reason that I left Dhillon except for the gas thing. Good Luck with whom ever you choose!
