I would have to agree!!! Captain is FABULOUS. He is so well trained (three years worth) and we are currently doing Search and Rescue training! He is just so great that "she who is yet to be named" has some big paws to fill. I hope she can live up to the high expectations we have for her! So far she is on course though, because just last night (night three) she slept ALL night in her crate!

My GSD had the same markings as Captain. She was a 2 year old beat up back yard dog when I adopted her. I trained her in show obedience, off lead w/hand signals. A truly spectacular companion, fiercely loyal and incredibly gentle at the same time. Her body gave out after 15 years and I still miss her.

Calypso -is nice - different. Our female German Sheps name is Tyra. She just turned 12. I love these dogs. They are the smartest and most loving I have ever seen. Everyday my heart gets a little heavier knowing she wont be around too much longer. She is doing really well but you can tell her time is coming.
