HELP........REMOVAL of DYING Possom on My FRONT PORCH

I'm thinking Sundays are gonna be rough for us women to depend on men for much due to football season.

They can always spray paint it red have someone punt it off her property...

NEED HELP...........

I have a DYING Possom on my FRONT PORCH

I called Animal Contorl to no Avail, it was an answering machine, I left a message, it stated if was an emergency to call the sheriff

I called the sheriff they stated an officer would come to my house SHOOT the animal and then WE have to dispose of it. But BEFORE the officer will shoot it we have to SHOVEL it into our front yard, so that it can be shot in the SOFT DIRT vs. OUR PORCH.

So NOW I can't get out my house because it's in FRONT of my door.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

You don't need to go anywhere when you're stuck in a bed for a month. :shrug:

It may just be me, but wouldn't common sense chime in and give you an idea of calling a neighbor or get rid of the rodent yourself? 911 is for EMERGENCIES (i.e.-your child is hurt, you were in a car accident, someone is dying, etc.) I swear some people here have the I.Q. of a 10 oz. bud. You're pissed because YOU have to move it, and they are going to SHOOT it while you refuse to remove it yourself? Do you think they would come over, hook up an I.V. to it, give it CPR and make it all better?

She didn't say she called 911 when you call animal control after hours they will tell you to call the Sheriffs office. You can call them without dialing 911.
