Help with a "noisy" pic...

I took this pic a year ago. I've had a few people attempt to clean it up for me. I adore the pic. I'm not sure why but it is one of my favorite of my son. I now have Photoshop and I downloaded the Noiseware. But, I cannot figure either one out. I really want this pic cleaned up so that I can get cracking on my overdue scrapbooks for last year.

Can someone please help me? Thank you so much. :flowers:

Nope...too much noise and not enough data in the image to fix.
Tried..but too much lost data.
Use a flash next time....
Sorry

I thought that I did. I always kept my camera on auto flash. :ohwell:

That's why it didn't flash.
Your camera was reading enough light behind your boy.
Fill flash or a manual setting would have worked, but then it would just be another snapshot.

When i get home i'll give it a shot.
I may be taking the wrong approach but several "layers" are going to be utilized.
Layer 1 will obviously have the brightness levels at maximum
In layer 1 i should be able to see "partial" original color and then apply those colors to the respectfull layers, while blending/ shading ect.

this will be a 2 maybe 3 day project...and a good test to see just how far you have to dig into a program in order to fix a pic :yay:
