Help with relocation issues!

First posting to this forum. I am a (hard to believe) 50 yr old SWF. I grew up in Charles County, but have lived in No. Virginia for the last 20 years. Circumstances have made it necessary for me to leave here and I was looking at St. Mary’s County (Lex. Park, California) for possible relocation. I have several questions. Are there any good independently owned restaurants there? I take it there are no decent movie theaters? Do people in Wildwood actually ride their bikes on the ‘bike path’ on the side of the road? Has anyone ever been hit by a car? Do the stores and restaurants get really crowded? And lastly, is St. Mary’s generally a safe place to live? Are their any neighborhoods/areas to avoid? Thanks very much for taking the time to read this and hopefully respond.

Has anyone ever been hit by a car? It happens.

Do the stores and restaurants get really crowded? At times.

And lastly, is St. Mary’s generally a safe place to live? Generally.

I was wondering myself....

...about places to live in the area. I have been here a little over a year and am getting ready to look for another place. This place I'm in now was a temporary measure. I've found some that seem a little too cheap to be good. Anyone have any opinions on Queen Anne Park on Great Mills Road or on St. Mary's Landing Apartments on Pegg Road? Any other suggestions or places to avoid would be much appreciated. Thanks. :larry:
