Open & drink beer.... There should be 1 or 2 bolts on the bar (flat thing the chain goes around) near the engine. There may also be an adjustment screw. Open and drink 2nd beer............ Loosen all of these and slide the bar towards the engine. Open & drink 3rd beer...........pee........ Drape the chain back on the bar. Open & drink 4th beer....... Use the adjustment screw to extend the bar Open & drink 5th beer........ pee........ & tighten the chain Open & drink 6th beer....... (not too tight). Pee...... Tighten the bolts on the bar. Open & drink 7th beer.......... Pee........ Waa Laa. Make kids pick up beer cans

Once I was useing husbands belt sander when he wasnt home, and I got to close to a rag pile and sucked up a pair of his old tighty whiteys into it. I put down sander and walked away. Same as Camily should do with chainsaw.

But it's fun! I love running the saw. He made me use the electric one the first day. Now I have worked up to the medium saw. One more saw to get to but he says it's too much for me. :sad:

Update!

You would think that after the first time my shorts went into the intake fan I would have learned my lesson. Nope. They just got sucked into the fan on the bottom of the saw. Here I stood with a chainsaw attached to my stomach. I quickly turned it off and had to scramble to get the stinkin' saw open so I could pull my string out before HE got home. Luckily I got it done. I am now a mechanic as well as a lumberjack!!!

Hey Camily hon? You should probably mention to your hubby that it broke, luckily no one was hurt and that you were able to replace it. That way he can inspect it before he uses it in case its not on properly and he doesn't end up getting hurt either.

I guess. Didn't get the cheers I expected. He did say he was glad he didn't have to do it. Man of little words. He also said he was surprised at how much yard work I have been doing. The other day he said that I looked good running a chainsaw, and that he wants to grow old with me.
