My D drive is not working on any discs except my Kodak ones. I tried to download software and tried to burn. Can't do either. I can hear it "working" but then it keeps telling me to insert a CD into the drive. :confused:


Please help :flowers:

They use effing Geeks On Call and I think that they are ridiculous. I am not paying their prices for this small crap! Last time they were out it cost us $595.00 for 2 hours of work for networking 3 computers. :yikes:

well if you dont want to pay for tech support to come out, just go to staples buy a new cd rom for under 100 and install it. That's usually quicker than trying to figure out whats wrong.
